Q&A: Do you think the FEDS meeting which started today will lower the home loan rates tomorrow ?
Issue by JohnPau2010: Do you feel the FEDS meeting which commenced nowadays will reduced the home mortgage rates tomorrow ?
I was studying some on-line news and it was stating that FEDS are meeting today for two days to discuss about some prices. And tomorrow (wednesday 2pm) will know about the policy.
1) Will this meeting have any influence on the home financial loan curiosity prices ?
two) Do you believe the property financial loan rates for 30yr fixed and 15 yr fixed will arrive down or go up tomorrow ?

It may or may not. The Feds set the rate at which banks can borrow at so it may or may not have an affect on the mortgage rates. There may also be a lag time as well. In the past there are times that they lower the rate but mortgage rates didn’t change.
Most people I have read think that the Fed will wait at least another month before doing anything. They really only have one option (speed up their purchases in the bond market) and they may be loathe to do this because of the possible ramifications on inflation. However, the Fed has surprised before, so who knows.
